Roasted Cauliflower

Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower head
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil — or cooking oil of choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Remove outer leaves of cauliflower.
  3. Cut florets off the stem.
  4. Wash and drain.
  5. Combine oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  6. Toss the cauliflower florets in the oil mixture.
  7. Spread cauliflower on a large rimmed baking sheet.
  8. Roast in the oven at 450 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes until the cauliflower starts to soften and begins to brown.
  9. Sprinkle with cheese.
  10. Continue to roast for 5 to 10 minutes.
