Baked Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon pepper

Method

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a large freezer bag or bowl.
  2. Whisk the oil with the paprika, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken. Marinate overnight for best flavor, or cook right away.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the chicken in a baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes, until fully cooked. Smaller breasts may be done in about 20 minutes; internal temperature should reach 165°F.
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
