Peach Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cans (20 ounces total) peaches, in light syrup, drained and sliced
  • 2 medium tart apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 tablespoons chilled margarine

Method

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. Lightly grease 9x9x2-inch casserole dish.
  4. Combine peaches, apples, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  5. Toss well and spread evenly in greased casserole dish.
  6. Combine flour and sugar in small bowl.
  7. Cut in margarine with two knives until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
  8. Sprinkle flour mixture evenly over fruit.
  9. Bake until lightly browned and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
