Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Ingredients

  • 3 medium sweet potatoes, 5" long
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil — or cooking oil of choice
  • Optional Seasonings
  • salt and pepper — to taste
  • paprika — 1/2 teaspoon, optional
  • garlic powder — 1/2 teaspoon, optional

Method

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Wash and peel sweet potatoes.
  3. Cut into 1/4-inch slices.
  4. In a large bowl, toss slices in olive oil until coated.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.
  6. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 425 degrees F until tender and golden brown (about 20 minutes), turning occasionally to brown evenly.
