Jiffy Oatmeal Crunch

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar — firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups quick oats — uncooked
  • 1 cup raisins

Method

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 °F and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  3. In large skillet, melt butter and brown sugar.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
  5. Spread into pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. Cool; cut into squares.
