Carne Asada

Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak
- ½ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 jalapeno (halved and seeded)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 8 corn tortillas
- pico de gallo
- guacamole
Method
- Blend orange juice, lime juice, vegetable oil, soy sauce, jalapeno, garlic, and cumin until smooth.
- Place the flank steak in a dish or bag, pour marinade over it, coat well, and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high and let the steak come to room temperature.
- Grill the steak 7-9 minutes on one side, flip, and cook another 5-7 minutes to desired doneness.
- Rest the steak on a cutting board for 10 minutes.
- While the steak rests, grill the tortillas briefly until softened and lightly browned, then wrap in foil to keep warm.
- Slice the rested steak against the grain into small pieces.
- Fill the warm tortillas with steak, pico de gallo, and guacamole to serve.
