High-Protein Tacos with Cilantro Lime Crema

Ingredients
- 1 lbs lean grass-fed ground beef
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro
- 1/2 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tbsp raw honey
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Mild Salsa
- Avocado, diced
- Nacho tortilla chips, crushed (Siete Foods brand)
- Flour tortillas, warmed
- Romaine lettuce, finely chopped
Method
- Season the ground beef with chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon pepper seasoning, and salt.
- Cook the seasoned beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- For the crema, combine Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, cilantro, lime juice, honey, garlic powder, salt, lemon pepper seasoning, and black pepper in a blender.
- Blend the crema mixture until smooth and creamy.
- Warm the flour tortillas.
- Assemble tacos with the cooked beef, chopped romaine, diced avocado, crushed tortilla chips, salsa, and a drizzle of the cilantro lime crema.
