Ingredients
- 40oz Lean Ground Beef (96/4) (1135g)
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Salt (15g)
- 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning (7g)
- Turkey Pepperonis (90g)
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic (12g)
- 1.5 Cup Tomato Sauce (360g)
- 2 Tbsps Honey (40g)
- 2 Tbsps Hot Sauce (30g)
- Fresh Parsley (15g)
- 2.5 Cups Fat Free Mozzarella (280g)
- 10 Low Calorie Tortillas
- 2.5 Cups Fat Free Cheddar (For The Shell) (280g)
- 30 Turkey Pepperonis (For The Shell) (60g)
Method
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet, seasoning with garlic salt, italian seasoning, and minced garlic until fully cooked.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, honey, hot sauce, chopped turkey pepperoni, and fresh parsley; simmer briefly to combine flavors.
- Lay out each tortilla and sprinkle a layer of fat free cheddar and a few pepperoni slices to form the outer shell.
- Add a portion of the meat mixture and mozzarella cheese in the center of each tortilla.
- Roll each tortilla tightly into a log, sealing the edge.
- Place rolls seam-side down and cook in a skillet, oven, or air fryer until the cheese shell is melted and crisped on all sides.
- To freeze, wrap each roll individually in foil or place in an airtight freezer bag; store frozen up to 3 months.
- To reheat, wrap a frozen roll loosely in a damp paper towel and microwave on a plate for 3-4 minutes.
- For a crispy finish, toast the reheated roll briefly in a pan or air fryer.
