Crispy Salmon Strips

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb fresh salmon fillet, cut into thick strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder & smoked paprika
  • Fresh chives for serving
  • creamy garlic-herb dipping sauce for serving

Method

  1. Cut salmon fillet into thick strips.
  2. Toss salmon strips with oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
  3. Sear the strips in a hot pan over medium-high heat, turning until a crisp, caramelized crust forms on all sides and the glaze thickens.
  4. Cook until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily in the center.
  5. Plate the strips, sprinkle with fresh chives, and serve with garlic-herb dipping sauce on the side.
