Crispy Salmon Strips

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb fresh salmon fillet, cut into thick strips
- 1 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder & smoked paprika
- Fresh chives for serving
- creamy garlic-herb dipping sauce for serving
Method
- Cut salmon fillet into thick strips.
- Toss salmon strips with oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
- Sear the strips in a hot pan over medium-high heat, turning until a crisp, caramelized crust forms on all sides and the glaze thickens.
- Cook until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily in the center.
- Plate the strips, sprinkle with fresh chives, and serve with garlic-herb dipping sauce on the side.
