BBQ Party Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1 rack of pork spare ribs
  • Hot sauce of choice
  • BBQ rub of choice
  • 2-3 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 5-6 tbsp of butter
  • 2/3 cup BBQ sauce of choice

Method

  1. Dry the ribs with paper towels, remove the membrane from the back, then slice the rack into individual ribs.
  2. Rub each rib with hot sauce to act as a binder, then coat all sides with bbq rub.
  3. Smoke the ribs at 250°F for about 2 hours, then transfer them to an oven-safe pan.
  4. Top the ribs with pats of butter, a sprinkle of brown sugar, and a drizzle of bbq sauce, then wrap the pan tightly in foil.
  5. Bake at 275°F for about another hour, until the ribs are tender and reach roughly 205°F internally.
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
