Maple Glazed Bacon Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)
  • Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper in a small bowl; set aside.
  3. Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, securing with toothpicks if needed.
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear the bacon-wrapped chicken 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  5. Pour the maple glaze over the chicken in the skillet.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake 20-25 minutes, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. Spoon glaze over the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  8. Serve hot.
