Maple Glazed Bacon Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)
- Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper in a small bowl; set aside.
- Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, securing with toothpicks if needed.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear the bacon-wrapped chicken 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Pour the maple glaze over the chicken in the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake 20-25 minutes, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Spoon glaze over the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve hot.
