Cinnamon Roll Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- additional granulated sugar for cinnamon mixture
- powdered sugar for glaze
- milk for glaze
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in baking soda and salt, then fold in flour just until combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix cinnamon with a bit of extra granulated sugar.
- Pour half the batter into the pan and sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Add the remaining batter on top and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
- Swirl gently with a knife or skewer for a marbled look.
- Bake 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then move to a wire rack to cool fully.
- Whisk powdered sugar with milk to make a smooth glaze and drizzle over the cooled bread.
