Garlic Butter Parmesan Seafood Bake with Scallops

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large sea scallops, side muscle removed
  • ½ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ lb firm white fish, such as cod or haddock, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ⅓ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Pat the scallops, shrimp, and fish pieces dry and arrange them in the dish.
  3. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika, lemon juice, and lemon zest, then pour over the seafood.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top.
  5. In a small bowl, combine Parmesan, panko, melted butter, parsley, and garlic powder to make the topping.
  6. Scatter the topping evenly over the seafood.
  7. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the seafood is cooked through and the topping is golden.
  8. Let rest a few minutes before serving.
