Garlic Herb Butter Lobster Tails

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method

  1. Using kitchen scissors, cut through the top of each lobster shell lengthwise, then lift the meat up so it rests on top of the shell.
  2. Mix the melted butter with garlic, parsley, lemon juice, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme in a small bowl.
  3. Brush the lobster meat thoroughly with the garlic herb butter mixture.
  4. Arrange the tails on a baking tray and bake at 425°F for 10–15 minutes, until the meat turns opaque and is fully cooked.
  5. Halfway through baking, brush the tails again with more garlic butter.
  6. Serve hot with lemon wedges and any remaining herb butter on the side.
  7. Optional: broil for the last 1-2 minutes for a golden top, and let the lobster rest briefly before serving.
