Garlic Butter Parmesan Baked Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh chopped parsley
  • Lemon wedges

Method

  1. Heat oven to 400°F and lightly grease a cast-iron skillet or baking dish.
  2. Mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Toss the shrimp in the mixture until well coated, then arrange in a single layer in the prepared dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine Parmesan, panko, melted butter, parsley, and garlic powder.
  5. Scatter the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
  7. Broil for 1-2 minutes until the topping turns golden and crisp.
  8. Top with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
