Pumpkin Pie Syrup

Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1-2 cups of water
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste once it's off the heat
Method
- Combine brown sugar, maple syrup, pumpkin puree, water, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat, whisking to combine and dissolve the sugar.
- Simmer for several minutes until slightly thickened, adjusting water for desired consistency.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla bean paste.
- Cool, then strain if desired, and store for use in coffee or lattes.
