Halloween Brownie Batter Puppy Chow

Ingredients
- 8 cups Rice Chex
- 4 cups Chocolate Cheerios
- 12 oz milk chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup marshmallow fluff
- ½ cup brownie mix, HEAT TREATED
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- Spooky sprinkles
- Halloween M&M's (optional)
Method
- Heat-treat the brownie mix by microwaving in 30-second bursts until it reaches 165°F, or bake at 350°F for 3-5 minutes; let it cool.
- Melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter together until smooth.
- Stir the marshmallow fluff into the melted chocolate mixture.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex and Chocolate Cheerios, gently stirring to coat evenly.
- Combine the powdered sugar and cooled heat-treated brownie mix in a large bag or container, add the coated cereal, and shake until fully coated.
- Spread the mixture out and let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Mix in the mini marshmallows, sprinkles, and Halloween M&M's, then top with extra sprinkles if desired.
