Cheeseburger Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups uncooked pasta (elbow macaroni or shells)
- 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
- Chopped pickles or green onions for garnish (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned; drain excess grease.
- Stir in garlic and cook about 30 seconds.
- Add diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, milk, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Stir in the cooked pasta and 1½ cups of the cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar and the mozzarella.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly with melted cheese.
- Garnish with chopped pickles or green onions if desired, and serve.
