20-Minute Dumpling Wrapper Noodle Bowl

Ingredients

  • 500g minced pork
  • 1 bunch bok choy/choy sum (chopped)
  • 150g evergreen dumpling wrapper
  • 2-3 cloves garlic mince
  • 1 heap tsp cornstarch (for cornstarch solution)
  • 3 tsp water (for cornstarch solution)
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tbs oyster sauce
  • 1 tbs dark soy sauce
  • white pepper
  • 2 tsp sugar

Method

  1. Boil the dumpling wrappers for 5-6 minutes until cooked through, then rinse under cold water and set aside.
  2. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and stir-fry the ground pork until about 80% cooked.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry briefly until fragrant.
  4. Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, white pepper, and sugar together, then pour into the pan and stir to combine.
  5. Add the chopped bok choy and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened but still crunchy.
  6. Add the cooked dumpling wrappers one at a time, gently tossing to combine with the pork mixture.
  7. Once everything is well coated, turn off the heat and stir in the cornstarch solution to thicken the sauce.
  8. Give it one final stir, then divide into two bowls and serve.
