Shrimp Tostadas

Ingredients
- 3 corn tostada shells
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 2 ripe avocados
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro (plus more for garnish)
- ¼ cup diced red onion
- ¼ cup diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp sriracha (or hot sauce)
- Lime wedges, for serving
Method
- Mash the avocados with lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Toss the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the shrimp in a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and fully cooked.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and sriracha to make a spicy crema.
- Spread the mashed avocado mixture over each tostada shell.
- Top with cooked shrimp, diced tomatoes, red onion, and extra cilantro, then drizzle with the spicy crema.
- Squeeze fresh lime over the top and serve immediately.
