Sloppy Joe Potato Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Brown the ground beef with the diced onion in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks.
  2. Drain excess fat, then add the diced potatoes to the skillet.
  3. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and let simmer a few minutes to combine flavors.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, cover, and let melt before serving.
