Turkey Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey — 85% lean
  • 1/2 cup oats — regular, dry
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon onion — dehydrated, or one small onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 celery stalks — chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves — minced
  • 1/2 green pepper — seeded and diced

Method

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 °F.
  3. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  4. Bake in 9x5 loaf pan for 25 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 °F.
  5. Check the temperature with a meat thermometer.
  6. Cut into five slices and serve.
