Tostadas Delgadas

Ingredients

  • 8 tortillas — corn or flour
  • 2 cups refried beans — fat-free
  • 2 cups lettuce — shredded
  • 1 cup tomatoes — diced
  • 1 cup cheese — shredded
  • green onions — chopped, optional

Method

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Turn on oven to 350 °F.
  3. Place tortillas on a cookie sheet and put in oven for 10 minutes or until crispy.
  4. Wash lettuce and tomatoes.
  5. Shred lettuce and dice tomatoes Spread two large tablespoons of refried beans on each tortilla.
  6. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
  7. Add green onions if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and refrigerate leftovers.
