Savory and Spicy Ground Beef & Succotash

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces lean ground beef
  • 1 cup frozen lima beans, cooked and drained
  • 1 3/4 cups low-sodium corn — 15 1/2 ounce can, drained
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) low-sodium tomatoes, broken up
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Method

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Brown ground beef in 9-inch skillet.
  3. Drain excess liquid.
  4. Stir in remaining ingredients except nutmeg.
  5. Cover and simmer 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  6. Sprinkle with nutmeg before serving.
